2.5.2 Workflow States — Draft, Review, Published
Content in Praisma Hub moves through clearly defined workflow states that control visibility, editability, and publication. These states ensure quality control, accountability, and predictable content lifecycle management.
Core Workflow States
The default workflow includes the following states:
Draft — Content is being created or edited and is not publicly visible
Review — Content is ready for approval and may be locked for editing
Published — Content is approved and publicly accessible
Additional workflow steps may be configured where required.
State Transitions and Permissions
Transitions between workflow states:
Are permission-based
May require explicit approval
Are logged for audit purposes
Only authorized users can move content between states.
Workflow and Localization
Workflow states are tracked per locale where localization is enabled:
One language variant may be published while another remains in draft
Review and approval can occur independently per language
This supports phased multilingual publishing.
Governance and Accountability
Workflow enforcement provides:
Clear separation of responsibilities
Traceable approval actions
Reduced risk of unreviewed publication
Summary
Workflow states in Praisma Hub ensure that content moves from creation to publication in a controlled and auditable manner, supporting both editorial quality and compliance.
