4.1.1 Integrations — Social Media Integrations — Supported Platforms — Overview
Social Media Integrations connect Praisma Hub with external platforms to enable publishing, monitoring, messaging, and analytics from a centralized environment. Supported platforms are selected based on stability, API maturity, and relevance to professional communication workflows.
Platform Coverage
Each supported platform is integrated through its official APIs and conforms to platform-specific policies and rate limits.
Currently supported platforms include:
Facebook Pages
LinkedIn Pages
Platform availability may vary by region and account type.
Capability Matrix
Not all capabilities are available on every platform. Integrations expose features only where permitted by the platform.
Common capabilities:
Content publishing
Engagement metrics retrieval
Inbox messaging where supported
Comment and reply management
Unsupported features are explicitly disabled to prevent inconsistent behavior.
Account Types and Restrictions
Some platforms impose restrictions based on account classification.
Examples:
Business or creator accounts required for certain metrics
Page-based access rather than personal profiles
Read-only access for specific endpoints
These constraints are enforced at connection time.
Data Synchronization
Data retrieved from external platforms is normalized into internal schemas. Synchronization occurs asynchronously to avoid blocking user actions.
Synchronized data may include:
Posts and media references
Engagement counts
Message threads
Raw platform payloads are retained for audit and troubleshooting.
Update and Deprecation Policy
Platform APIs evolve frequently. Integrations are versioned and monitored to handle deprecations gracefully.
Policy principles:
Advance notice where possible
Controlled rollout of API changes
Backward compatibility where supported
Error Handling and Resilience
External API failures do not affect core platform functionality. Errors are isolated to the integration layer and surfaced through diagnostics and notifications.
Security and Compliance
All integrations operate within tenant scope. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and refreshed according to platform requirements. Data handling complies with platform terms and applicable data protection regulations.
