Publish pages and manage redirects
What publishing does, how versions work and how to send old URLs to new pages.
Updated November 8, 2026
Draft and published
Every page has a draft you edit and a published version visitors see. Publishing makes the draft live. Earlier versions are kept, so you can go back.
Redirects
When you move or remove a page, add a redirect so old links keep working. Pick the target from your site's published pages, or type a path. Redirect chains and loops are refused when you save, and a live page always wins over a redirect.
Reserved addresses
A few paths belong to the platform, such as /api and /app. You get a clear message if a page path uses one.
