AI connectors (MCP)

AI connectors overview

Use Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client to work in your Praisma workspace as yourself.

Updated November 8, 2026

Praisma Hub runs a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Once connected, an assistant can use Praisma's tools: build and edit site pages, manage CMS entries, products and orders, edit designs in Studio, draft social posts, plan campaigns and work with your media library.

One URL for everyone

Every workspace uses the same connector address:

https://mcp.praismahub.com/mcp

You can also find it in Settings → AI connectors. When you connect, you sign in with your normal Praisma account and the connection is routed to your own workspace.

What a connection can do

A connection acts as you. What it can do is the overlap of three things:

your own role and permissions in the organization,

the areas you approved when you connected (for examplecms:readorsite:write),

the connector controls your organization's administrator has set.

If any of the three says no, the tool is not available. Assistants never get more access than you have in the app.

How calls behave

Confirmations.Actions that go live, spend AI credits, change many pages at once or delete something require your explicit yes in the chat. The assistant shows you what it is about to do and only proceeds after you confirm.

Open editors.Editing a site page's canvas or a Studio design happens in the editor itself. If the page or design is not open, the tool answers with a link; open it in your browser and the assistant's edits appear live, each one undoable. A few read-only checks (screenshots, linting, accessibility) fall back to the last saved draft when no editor is open.

Drafts first.Social posts created by an assistant are drafts; a person publishes them.

Built-in guides.Thepraisma_get_guidetool returns Praisma's how-to manuals for multi-step tasks. Guides are free and always available.

Monthly allowance.Every plan includes AI connector calls, metered per workspace and reset on the 1st of each month. Usage is shown on the AI connectors page and under Usage. When the allowance runs out, tools answer with a plain message the assistant can pass on.

Managing connections

Settings → AI connectors lists your connections and what each one can do right now. You can revoke a connection at any time. Each person has one connection per assistant app; connecting again replaces the previous one.
