AI connectors (MCP)

Working with several organizations

One connection can cover several organizations; it works in one at a time.

Updated November 8, 2026

If you belong to more than one organization in your workspace, you choose which ones a connection covers on the consent screen. The connection always works in exactly one of them, the active organization. Everything it reads and writes, and every permission and control it is checked against, comes from that organization.

Switching

praisma_list_organizationsshows the organizations the connection covers and which one is active.

praisma_switch_organizationmakes another one active. You can only switch to organizations you ticked and still belong to. The switch is remembered for the connection.

Just ask in plain words, for example “switch to the Acme organization”. If you ask for something that only another organization allows, the tool answers which organization has it and asks to switch first; nothing runs in the wrong place.

When an answer mixes data from several organizations, ask the assistant to say which is which. Each connection is listed under Settings → AI connectors in every organization it covers, and can be revoked from any of them.
